Meet Guo Ailun, Jordan Brand's First Chinese Basketball Player

The Jordan Brand is celebrating the signing on Guo Ailun, a representative of China’s new wave of basketball players dominating the market.

His team honors include the 2009 FIBA Asia Under-16 and 2015 FIBA Asia titles, and the 2015–16 China basketball season regular season championship. That’s pretty impressive and definitely adding pressure to uphold the Jordan Brand on his back in China 🇨🇳.

This signing comes just in time for Jordan’s 20th anniversary of entering the Greater China  market.

So with that being said, should we anticipate a new “Wings” collection to take off in China with Guo at the forefront? Also should we expect more players being signed to the Jordan family from Greater China?

You can check out some of Guo’s highlights

How do you think this will impact the brand in China now that Jordan has an official face of the to billboard 💁🏾‍♂️?
